What is Your Relationship with Your Feminine Side?

Even though the feminist movement has clearly been empowering for the majority of women, have you ever stopped and thought that women are forced to give up their feminity for empowerment?

Men are largely associated with the terms strong and powerful. Therefore, many women have concluded that they need to become stronger and more powerful than men to compete.

However, what you need to realize is that feminine power is not about physical or mental strength. Instead, it’s about an ability to be vulnerable.

Vulnerability as a Strength

We largely consider vulnerability to be a weakness. However, there’s another way to look at it. The willingness to appear vulnerable actually requires a lot more strength than holding up a shield.

We’re constantly told that we need to remove the emotional aspects from a situation. As a result, many women are forced to wear a “masculine mask” to cover up their vulnerability and openness.

Yet in relationships, vulnerability is extremely valuable and attractive. The researcher Brene Brown observes that, “we love seeing raw truth and openness in other people…but we’re afraid to let them see it in us.”

The strong masculine identity makes it almost impossible for men to show emotions and vulnerability.

However, women who display a healthy relationship with their feminine side show no signs of struggle. In fact, they display the capacity to be vulnerable in front of others.

Live an Active Life

Have you ever noticed that people describe storms and oceans with feminine language?

“She’s coming!” They utter when a storm is brewing.

“Look at her waves.” Might be observed.

This reflects the power of femininity. It isn’t a weakness, but the power of mother nature.

You need to embrace your feminity by moving all the time. You don’t want to stay stagnant in one place.

However, over 70 percent of Americans spend all day sitting at desk jobs, and they hate it.

You need to get your body moving more. Take a walk on the beach or practice yoga. Get on your bicycle for a ride or dance to music in your underwear at home.

Remove Your Pants

Pants have been heralded by some to be a symbol of gender equality. The “Pants are Power” campaign says as much.

However, pants and jeans aren’t exactly the best way to channel your inner feminity. You don’t want to feel restricted in your safe pants.

While you should always wear whatever makes you feel great, you could experiment with going pant free for a week.

Take your cute dresses and floral skirts out of your wardrobe. Feel the wind flowing through your legs and the sun on your shoulders.

Spend Time with Your Girls

People always want to ask the question about whether a man and women can be in a platonic friendship or not. However, the benefits of spending time with your girlfriends cannot be compared to anything else.

You can only fully explore your relationship with your femininity while you’re surrounded by other female friends. There is scientifically grounded evidence for this as well.

Women who spend time with a close female friend have higher levels of serotonin, which is a happy hormone. It protects you against the development of depression or anxiety.

You can also live, on average, up to 22 percent longer than women without friends. So, your girlfriends can give you much more than emotional support.

Get More Sexual Satisfaction

Over 60 percent of women say that they’re not satisfied with their sex lives. This simply won’t do!

Have you ever noticed that men always want to sleep after ejaculation?

That’s because they experience a sudden loss of energy immediately after orgasm. As for women, it’s the opposite.

When women orgasm, they enjoy a sudden rush of energy and creativity. There are few stronger examples of the power of femininity than the moments after orgasm.

If you’re not having enough orgasms, you need to change this quickly. More and better orgasms can allow you to harness your feminine power.

Put Yourself First

Women have always put themselves last. After the kids, the husband, the housework and preparing the meals, but that’s got to change.

You need to know how it feels to be on the receiving end of love and attention. Rather than always giving it away to other people.

That’s not only about how to have sex. It’s also about treating yourself to indulgences in life.

Go for a massage at your favorite spa. Have someone cook a three-course meal for no particular reason.

Sometimes, you need to have compassion for yourself. Putting yourself first is not selfish, it’s the right thing to do!

Embrace Your Feminine Power

We can sometimes feel distanced from our feminine side, but it’s important to embrace your feminity in order to harness your inner feminine power.

There’s nothing more attractive than a woman who oozes feminine powers.
