“I’m so far behind, I’ll never catch up!” wails a chorus of students in a self-paced online course. “I feel like I’m way behind the 8 ball in creating my business!” wails another chorus of business builders. (I’ve been feeling this one myself.)
What if we all stopped, just for a moment, to realize that “feeling behind” is an emotional reaction to a made-up clock in our head and an Inner Critic that assumes others are moving along at “the right” pace?

For these reasons, feeling behind is counterproductive. We need to round up our energies and reorient ourselves to the Now, the only place anything real can happen. Let’s all take a deep breath and push the Reset button to refresh our minds.
