In an exclusive interview with Realtor Annabella Ferreira, the team went through why she became a realtor and shared some helpful tips for first-time home buyers.

It’s great to have you here. Can you please tell us more about yourself and what you do?
“I am a realtor with my partner. We work as a team, and we love to help people buy and sell their homes.”
What is your service area? What are the benefits of working in this area? What are the amazing features of these areas that people should know before moving here?
“We service primarily west and central Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, and Oakville. We live in West Toronto, which makes it convenient for us. These neighborhoods have all the amenities you will need, and we are close to major highways. There is also a lot of green space and trails available for spending time outdoors.”
Do you work with a specific type of client or within a particular niche? (Commercial, Investment, First-time Homebuyer, etc.)
“We work with anyone interested in buying or selling a home and have also worked with first-time homebuyers and seniors looking to downsize.”
Not only will the first-time homebuyers look for the best value for their money, but there are also other aspects they need to consider before even considering buying or selling their home—for instance, the state of the real estate market.
How is the market performing right now? Is it the right time to acquire your services?
“The market is doing very well right now, especially if you would like to sell your home. It is always a good time to buy as well since prices are constantly going up. The sooner you can get in the market, the better the price.”
Tell us a little about your personal life? Ex: who do you live with? What are your hobbies? Do you have any pets? Etc.
“I live with my spouse, who is part of my real estate team, and we live in Etobicoke. We enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, kayaking. We often drive through small towns searching for real estate opportunities and becoming familiar with new communities. We also enjoy spending time with friends and family.”
What are some pieces of advice that you would give to potential clients looking to buy, sell or invest in your service area?
“My advice for buyers would be first to get qualified for a mortgage to ensure we are looking in the correct price range. Second, you want to be ready when the right property comes to us in this hot market.
As for sellers, I would say that decluttering a home and doing some small touch-ups such as painting, etc., makes a massive difference in getting the highest price for your home.”
“My husband and I have been involved with real estate for over 17 years. Additionally, my father-in-law, who was part of our team before he retired, was also in the real estate business for 50 years. These combined experiences and knowledge helps us in making sure our clients are happy. We enjoy meeting new people and look forward to working with our clients.” – Annabella Ferreira.
