Pathfinder Marketing is built on Eric’s uncompromising standards of value, results, teamwork and effort. These standards were born from Eric’s story of being a wrestler-cum-CEO.

These standards set Pathfinder Marketing apart in a home service industry where marketers care more about getting the job done than producing results for their contractor and painter clients.

Eric attended the University of Buffalo to pursue a D1 wrestling career. Between classes, coursework, and practice, Eric found himself in a position where he was looking to make a change.

He began investing time into learning entrepreneurship, e-commerce, and Facebook and Instagram advertising.

Eric soon had multiple online stores and developed a solid understanding of ecommerce advertising and marketing. He would take these skills with him as he developed Pathfinder’s unique marketing system.

At this same time, Eric took a position at a local remodeling company as an appointment-setter; In addition to being a full-time student, college athlete, and managing his online stores.

This was the first step on Eric’s path to founding Pathfinder Marketing

Setting a New Standard for Appointment-Setting

At the remodeling company, Eric excelled. He was setting appointments at a rate that awed his employers.

One day, when he saw the company was preparing Facebook ads for a marketing campaign, he looked at them and immediately began commenting and asking questions.

The company’s leadership team was so impressed by his knowledge of Facebook ads that they asked him to revise them. And he did.

The ads were so successful that the company promoted Eric and flew him out to one of their larger locations. Eric assisted the marketing team in developing a new ad campaign. By the third month, the campaign had resulted in over $96,000 in sales.

The gross cost of the campaign was only $2,500. Eric’s campaign was one of the two most profitable lead sources in the company’s history.

Through his work in developing this campaign, Eric realized he not only had the skills, but a passion for marketing. He also saw that home service providers have not been receiving the marketing services they need to support themselves and grow.

The success of his campaign showed Eric he could develop this passion to help contractors and painters in an underserved home service industry.

Eric made the decision to pause his college education and go all in on developing what would become Pathfinder Marketing. He also took down his websites, stopped wrestling, and left the remodeling company.

Building Pathfinder Marketing on Values, Teamwork, and Unrelenting Effort

Eric moved in with his brother and went to work on building an industry-changing marketing company for contractors, painters, and all home service providers.

To do this, he built Pathfinder Marketing on the values of effort, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.

These were the values Eric set as the standard and foundation for Pathfinder Marketing.

After struggling to close deals in the first months, Eric decided to up his game. He joined an online coaching program, risking what little money he had. And from this program, refined his sales strategy, systems, and process. He also learned that building a team on core values was paramount to success.

Eric’s sales began to soar. Building a team became an immediate need.

Eric knew from his experience that the home service industry is notorious for poor customer service. Contractors are not incentivized to call back because marketers in the industry do not hold themselves accountable for meeting this customer service standard.

Pathfinder Marketing does it differently. Eric determined no Pathfinder Marketing client would feel that he and his team weren’t there for them or putting in the maximum effort.

He began finding members who shared his passion and were fully devoted to providing  those in the home service industry with exceptional results and effort.

Because of Eric’s high standards and steadfast desire to provide valuable services, Pathfinder Marketing quickly wrestled its way to being the top marketing company of the home service and remodeling industry.

Through effort, building a team devoted to helping home service providers, and uncompromising values, Eric did build the industry-changing marketing company he set out to do.
