Cleansing (with oil and water based products), 2.Exfoliation, 3.Toning, 4.Facial mask, 5.Moisturizing, 6. Sunscreen, at night, the sunscreen is replaced by a “sleep cream”. Each regimen works and addresses differently depending on the kind of complexion you own, including hormonal fluctuations and lifestyle choices.
How to go about the steps:
1. Cleaning (with oil and water based products)
No secrets can be kept about K-Beauty Skin Care that starts with an unusual process of double cleansing—-first with oil based product to swipe off the makeup and dirt from the skin, followed by the water based cleanser, that takes out the leftover impurities from the skin.
2. Exfoliation
Second step following the so called “double cleansing” process is Exfoliation, which is a cosmetic technique to remove the dead skin from the face and body. It basically involves physical scrubbing of the skin. Exfoliation could be done through mechanical (using adhesive cloth, brushes or loofah) or chemical means (using skincare products available in market).
3. Toning

4. Facial mask
It is a technique of applying sheet mask on your face just after you are done with toning. Moisturizers can also be used to prevent the skin from becoming too dry or oily, such as with light, non-greasy water-based moisturizers.
6. Sunscreen
This is the last and the final step of the regimen you do when you are about to go out under the sun. This is used for sunblock. The products used as sunscreen be it cream based or gel based, absorb or reflect sun’s ultraviolet (UV) radiation thereby, help protect against sunburn. Diligent use of sunscreen can also slow down ageing of skin, thus prevents wrinkles and sagging skin.
Sunscreens are usually rated with a sun protection factor (SPF) which measures the fraction of sunburn-producing UV rays that reach the skin. For instance, “SPF 15” means 1/15th of the burning radiation reaches the skin through the recommended thickness of sunscreen. It also prevents skin cancer. At night, the sunscreen is replaced by a “sleep cream”.
