Dear World,
When I sat down tonight to write this letter to you #WORLD, I wasn’t sure what I would say. I have been wanting to write to you for a very, very long while. It never seemed to be the right time. I wanted it to flow from my heart. I didn’t want my letter to you #WORLD being perfect or grammatically correct, just #WhatIReallyReallyWant (#WhatIReallyReallyWant Campaign for United Nations Sustainable Development Goals)
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is a world where people are free to live, be fully self-expressed and connect with one another.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is for the earth to be healthy again. For the trees to bare green leaves in spring and summer; and in the fall turn a beautiful orange-brown hue, while in the winter they fall to the ground as the rain and snow nourishes their souls.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is for each and every person to see themselves in one another’s eyes knowing they are the same. Where children play not noticing they are different, but celebrating their pink, brown, orange and yellow hues.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is women and men loving each other, supporting one another’s dreams turned into reality. A world where partnership between women and men is the norm.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is Police Officers to connect with their communities; and speaking with youth about how “cool” it is to be a Police Officer.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is every child learns world cultures, travels to meet other children and learn the way they live.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is a world where no person feels alone. A safe place where anyone can share their deepest emotions of depression or feeling locked inside their hearts unable to get out; and someone is there to hold their hand.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is a world where people are free to marry one another regardless of the color of their skin, orientation or religion; but by the love in their hearts for one another.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is a world where color is not seen, but the heart of the soul by each person is connected with.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is a world where everyone is valued, respected and paid the same.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is everyone’s talent is nurtured, empowered and expanded to make this world a better place for all humanity.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is a disease-free world.
#WhatIReallyRallyWant is a world that advances technology to assist in Humanity’s growth.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is a world where every family sits down to dinner with each other. laughing and sharing their day together.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is a world where husbands and wives respect and love each other unconditionally.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is a world where food is grown organically for everyone and quality food is available for all.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is governments are in partnership with their citizens.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is Women being loved and respected and Men are their heroes; and Men are loved, respected and Women are their heroines.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is fish are swimming and dancing in the oceans happy and plentiful.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is clean air, fresh running blue lakes and rivers.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is animals running free in the wild aiding nature to flourish.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is bees making honey all over the world.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is flowers blooming in yellows, reds, oranges and any color in between.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is the indigenous communities living in abundance, and being heard by the world.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is humanity takes only from the land what it needs for nourishment and leave the rest for future generations.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is businesses to conduct business with integrity and profitability for all and yes I know its possible.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is no crime because everyone has equally all they need.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is for musicians, artists, producers, songwriters to let their music be played and purchased by all.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is for the world to return to human to human connection.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is a world without barriers.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is a world uncontrolled and managed by all with integrity.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is to see the color of the oceans blue again.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is to see all people respect their elders and listen to their wisdom.
#WhatIRallyReallyWant is for Humanity to love itself, give back to this planet so our future generations have all they need, support the animals to procreate and we are all in harmony.
#WhatIReallyReallyWant is love, peace and harmony for everyone.
When I first saw #WhatIReallyReallyWant i had to ask myself what did I really really want in my own life. And it was to simply love my family, do what I love and be paid well for what I love doing and contribute to society in a way that we all have a good quality of life, while being true to myself.
In September 2015, the United Nations created the Sustainable Development Goals (also known as the Global Goals) to be fulfilled upon by 2030. #WhatIReallyReallyWant is each person to take an action with one of the goals that is most important to their life. My Goal is number three, “Good Health and Well-Being”. What goal is most important to you and what action will you take for your life?
