I had the pleasure of interviewing Daniel Elimelech. Daniel is the Founder of IM Intelligent Mining, Inc. headquartered in Los Angeles, California. IM Intelligent Mining, Inc. was created as a renewable energy mining solutions company to service global cryptocurrencies. Daniel was born in Israel and raised in London, England. As a Chief Engineer and world renowned Entrepreneur, Mr. Elimelech services financial and energy sectors with his groundbreaking technology and idealism. He launched IM Intelligent Mining in 2018 after recognizing two main problems with the leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, being energy consumption and the centralization through mining operations that can disrupt the blockchain network through a 51% hack attack. Daniel Elimelech earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Robotics from Kadori in Israel, while studying basic laws of thermodynamics and quantum mechanics. Daniel was fascinated by blockchain technology mining and subsequently launched IM Intelligent Mining, Inc. Mr. Elimelech remains one of the world’s most esteemed open blockchain and bitcoin experts. His mission is to move all data mining to sustainable energy via the utilization of heat generated by its self-sustaining activity with virtually free electricity. Through Daniel Elimelech’s platform, IM Intelligent Mining, Inc. will be able to run the entire global network under decentralized ledgers. Through the use of AI technology, Daniel’s company will be able to spread sustainable energy across the globe and ultimately into space where there is no interference. Having been inspired by business magnate and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie’s influence and innovative technology that revolutionized the steel industry, Daniel Elimelech and his company donate all data and computer equipment used as upgrades are made to a nonprofit organization called Human I-T. The organization provides the resources and equipment to children that can’t afford them for their own studies. Mr. Elimelech’s immediate goal is to form energy from information to prevent further global warming. Prior to forming IM Intelligent Mining, Inc. Daniel served in Army Special Forces (IDF). He enjoys motivating others with his profound entrepreneurial spirit and inspirational drive through speaking engagements and professional coaching. In his leisure time, Daniel enjoys reading, studying, international travel, cooking, working out and collects classic cars. He also owns a nationally recognized cosmetics company and e-commerce site. Daniel resides in Los Angeles with his wife Luana.

Thank you so much for doing this with us! Can you tell us the story of how you grew up? What brought you to the US from London ?

I have grown up in London from the age of one year old, and as a kid I would always be fascinated by technology and the potential of it, once measured. As a kid, I would invent many gadgets in my room, for instance, 22 years ago I had built the first door camera from a Sony video cassette recorder. My friends would say to me “I want or need that” and I would say in the future people would want to know who is in the front door without the need to open or be there even (look at Ring today a top selling doorbell). I have always considered myself a visionary and observed the unseen by understanding my own thoughts of how change would make a simplified world through utilizing technology to our advantage. The reason for me coming to the United States is due in part to a theory I have been working on of utilizing a difference in temperature to create energy. I had a very interesting vision of a whole universe moving information via temperature and that maybe we have it all wrong. Energy is information and not using it is energy.I have been working on creating a chip that moves the heat difference from one end to another, generating energy through the processing of the information this revelation is Intelligent Mining where information is energy. I decided to come to the United States to demonstrate this technology as it is known as the capital of the internet and where the imagination is used mostly and I have approached several investors to participate in the testing and creation. It was simply easier to be closer to these investors and my team that are mostly based in the US.

Can you share with us how you chose this specific career path in engineering and robotics?

I studied engineering just as a hobby, so I have a degree in hand as well. I was more into business, as I loved to spend all of my spare time inventing things and solutions to everyday problems. One day I had started to mine bitcoin and was fascinated with the potential of the technology. Whilst mining, I noticed how much energy is being moved via sound friction and heat and how it can affect our world if continued in the long run; so I created a system that works on liquid and cools the computers and it saved approximately 10–15% energy and the hardware was more effective. By mistake I reversed the system and all of a sudden it generated energy through the seebeck effect, then a vision of a whole system of organized heat captured in a liquid and stored to create energy back to itself via a constant running mining Machine (computer) came to me and I started to measure to attain it! I decided to sell the idea and then rejected several offers as I believed I had a greater purpose for myself and my team, so I changed the plans and formed IM Intelligent Mining. What led me to pick this name IM Intelligent Mining: Intelligent Mining expresses the extraction of intelligent information. The letters “IM” represent “I am” as an individual. We are officially listed as IM Intelligent Mining. So, it really reads “I am intelligent mining,” because everyone as an individual is part of infinite intelligence extracting information to the global network of the digital Matrix “digital consciousness” “database” to the world we are in it is all broke down to information when you ”think” about it.

Can you tell us the most interesting story that happened to you since you began your career?

Yes! Before I formed IM, I wrote a book detailing all that will be needed for the beginning of the formation, writing every position and very interestingly every caricature that has been written in the book, it is almost as if I manifested them into reality. It may sound crazy and absurd but it is real and it still gives me goosebumps, it is one of the wildests experiences in my life, and then my belief in this formation just got stronger and my team members are the most enthusiastic humans on Earth to lead this project!

What was the funniest mistake you made when you were first starting out as the Founder of IM?

The funniest “mistake” I believe is the fear of failure. Until I understood that if I do not allow myself to fail I am already failing. By not failing, I learned that risk is already taken by not taking it.

Can you tell us what lesson you learned from that?

The lesson was to never give up until you hear the beep.

What are some of the most interesting or exciting projects you are working on now at your company?

We are building a miner that can be placed at any windowsill and utilized by 6 hours of sun for four days. It is called The IM Chancer, it is the lottery Ticket for Bitcoin, it has a random chance of creating a block and providing the owner the block reward.

Can you share with us what the benefits of your blockchain mining system are? How can that potentially impact the world?

Our blockchain system has several benefits:

  1. it creates energy from itself.
  2. It creates a 100% decentralized process from the energy to the record of information.
  3. Anyone can participate through owning just a share of the tokens that airdrop a constant reward from the block creation.
  4. 100% green sustainable energy.
  5. 100% privacy.
  6. Decentralized security.

From your personal experience, can you recommend three things that the industry can do to help address some of the myths behind cryptocurrency? Often, people are misinformed and concerned about cryptocurrency?

Unfortunately, just like you have terror and cons in the real world, there will be in the matrix as well. As it is some people’s nature to do so, it can be stopped only by awareness.

Cryptocurrency is like owning a gift card to Best Buy. For example, as long as you hold this value in the units of its kind, the more will be spent in the company and more of those units will have a greater value.

The myth is only because there are not many participating people at the moment, once more people use cryptocurrency as a mainstream form of payment, there will be less volatility.

Do you feel that banks should be concerned about cryptocurrency and its growing popularity world wide?

No not at all. Actually it is the opposite, they should embrace it intelligently. Just as people that do not trust the majority they will always trust the minority, the government, banks and professionals. It is human nature to blame that is the confidence of “insurance.” The thing is, we are born conscious of needing authority, maybe it is a psychological reason but it is, and we will always have a Daddy and Mommy figure presence, until that may change, the value will always be based off of other values. So it creates a tie between things, for instance bitcoin is based on the dollar so it will always be until changes are tied into the current banking system. That will be a way to monitor it like all other values such as gold, silver, minerals and so on. What happened is that it has been flipped from being valued by to being valued from, that is how governments have a more organized monitored system. So for the banks I would recommend to participate and find a way to adapt and they might see that if they start to participate, they will have much more to offer in the long run as to shift there service from a holder to a provider.

What are your “5 things I wish someone told me when I first started” and why. Please share a story or example for each.

Well the 5 things I wish I understood more are:

  1. That you can create anything you desire without needing to be a specialist just by studying the basic laws of it.
  2. Continue trying at any cost!
  3. Don’t invest the capital where not necessary.
  4. Keep some funds on the side for a day that is needed mostly for.
  5. Listen to people they tell you everything about them.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Do not invest in a mining operations without extremely cheap energy. When bitcoin dropped lots of money was lost. I also recommend not to use the air conditioner as it creates corrosion for the mining chips.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story about that?

I am grateful for a dear friend, Ofer that believes in me so much that he has without him even knowing through autosuggestion to my subconscious mind told me “make a sustainable mining rig.” IM has become just that, and since then and many times over, he has helped me by allowing me to read and teach him many books and laws, videos and so on and what was really happening is I was growing my own knowledge!

And yes I am grateful to my miner supplier Mr. T and Mr. M [they asked to be private] who has trusted me with their hearts and pushed IM off the ground by investing in the foundation of the IM formation to where we are today. After that one phone call from that seller on eBay Mr T and Mr M to ask about the miners they were selling I gained the best people I can ever ask for to participate in the early stages of Intelligent Mining.

Can you please give us your favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share how that was relevant to you in your life and/or career?

“You never know what you can do until you try.”

In kindergarten I would nap right beside this long quote and I have had it in the back, front and center of my mind ever since. Every person that knows me will be a witness to say that I swear by those words and I will never give up until I hear the beep if so 😉 as I will try to find a solution to that too!

Is there a person in the world, or in the US whom you would love to have a private breakfast or lunch with, and why? He or she might just see this, especially if we tag them. 🙂

I would love to have breakfast with Bill Gates or Elon Musk, as I believe I will learn very much for my journey from them!
