Daily journaling and meditating have helped calm me down

Re-setting each day with these small habits since early January has helped me manage my anxiety during the shelter-in-place time.

Small habits and intention were two themes for me for the new decade in early January. I didn’t know at the time how even more valuable daily meditations and journaling would be now. Ten Percent Happier daily livestream meditation with Dan Harris has also been helpful to feel a sense of community. Even 5 minutes of closing my eyes and noting my body and breath calm my nerves and give me perspective to be grateful for humanity.
