Can we really influence the past, present and future?

Yes, through Divine Love, Joy, Truth and Compassion.

What if who you are and how you live could change the world for future generations? What if who you have been and how you lived in past lives has resulted in who you are, what you do now and your perception of the world in which you live?

Yes, I am quickly stepping into the notion of reincarnation and will make several assumptions based on the belief that life on Earth is not a one and done proposition. It doesn’t make sense that we would have only one opportunity to explore, express and experience all that we are and all that the world has to offer in a single lifetime, or what I call a souljourn.

A souljourn is a temporary stay as a Soul incarnated in human form on Earth. Some lifetimes are relatively short while others are quite extended, however all are temporary when measured against the infinite.

Why is it that some Souls are incarnated into what might be considered more favorable conditions than those born into more difficult circumstances?  Why are some born into a life of apparent ease and opportunity while others are born into a life of war, famine or poverty?

Does it mean one Soul is more deserving than another therefore is placed in what appears to be more favorable conditions? What criteria would be used for that decision?

To choose which is more worthy or deserving is judgment, a character trait I do not attribute to the Divine. Every Soul has equal opportunity to experience and express the Self as fully and completely as possible within the circumstances they are presented. (choose)

Which brings up another question, who is to say that those born into what appear to be more favorable circumstances are given a greater opportunity than those born in what we would consider less favorable circumstances?

Could it be that those born in more difficult circumstances are the ones more blessed because of the opportunity to more fully explore, experience and express the fullness of who they are and of what they are capable of overcoming and creating?

I believe we are born into the perfect circumstances for the fullest experience and expression of the truth of who we are in each incarnation. And each incarnation presents different circumstances under which we are blessed to explore, experience and express our Self.

and the world benefits from

the gift of your expression”

How can we influence the past, the present and the future by who we are and how we live? Consider for a moment that the experiences of each incarnation, each souljourn, is recorded within our DNA, the very thing that informs who we are being and how we live in this and each lifetime.

If it is true that who we are being and how we live is a reflection of what has been recorded in our DNA than it stands to reason that who we are being and how we are living now is being recorded and will therefore inform who we will be, how we will live and the state of the world upon reincarnation.

If each one of us were to live more consciously with the intent of living in a more harmonious, peaceful, loving way, not only would we see change in the world in which we now live, but we would be creating a more harmonious, peaceful, loving world that we could experience upon our return.

If you knew without question that you were going to experience a heart attack and die if you didn’t change some behaviors, would you change? I think it is safe to say that most would, however, there are always those willing to gamble, even with their own lives.

If you knew with certainty (I for one am certain) that who you are and how you live will be reflected in who you are, how you live and the state of the world to which you will return, would you choose differently?

How is it that we can influence the past? How can we change what has already been? While how we live now will not change the events of the past, it can and does change the influence the past has on us in the present and potentially the future.

One of our greatest challenges, and therefore opportunities, is letting go of our history, not forgetting it, but letting go of it as an excuse for who we are, how we live and the state of the world.

Each day, each event, each interaction provides the opportunity to rewrite history while simultaneously creating and living what will become our history as we continue this evolutionary process.

“Life is the autobiography that we write as we live it.
Be careful you are not so attached to what was written that you are not present to what you are writing”
