Earlier this week, I had the chance to stop by the AWS re:Invent conference in Las Vegas. AWS CEO Andy Jassy invited me to speak to attendees about how Goldman Sachs is using technology to transform our business. It’s not often I get to talk directly to the developers building the next generation of technological change, so my goal was to be clear: Goldman Sachs wants to work with you.

We have around 9,000 engineers who make up about a quarter of our 38,000 person work force, and they help us solve some of the most interesting and challenging problems in the world. We’re building new products in consumer banking and cash management, unlocking our services for our clients and for developers, and pushing the bounds of what’s technologically possible while making financial solutions as easy, intuitive, safe and effective as possible.

Whether you come to work with us at Goldman, or use our APIs to develop a new business we couldn’t have dreamed of, I’m excited to see what we’ll make together.
