BENEATH WHATEVER IS HAPPENING NOW, IS A CONNECTION THAT ALWAYS IS

SEE WHAT YOU DO NOT SEE

The Thrive Global Community welcomes voices from many spheres. We publish pieces written by outside contributors with a wide range of opinions, which don’t necessarily reflect our own. Community stories are not commissioned by our editorial team, and though they are reviewed for adherence to our guidelines, they are submitted in their final form to our open platform. THE BEAUTIFUL THINGS ABOUT CONNECTION
is that even when we feel we are not so connected
the people we interact with comment on
how beautiful our connection feels.

focus less on
what you think
what you see
what you believe
the disagreement/s you just had

and focus more on
what is beyond all you think, see and believe.

we are not our disagreements
not are we our disappointments
we are this incredible connection
that exists beneath all that we see, know, and feel.

when we put all of our energy into this connection,
even in the midst of the darkest moments
people feel the connection that sits at the core of who we are.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
