Adam Medvedev is a 22 year old rising artist from Baltimore, Maryland. Being restricted to the area he’s in, he says there’s not much fun to have outside of making music in the studio and it can get a bit discouraging mentally and physically. Trying to make the best of every situation, Medvedev lists the four things he does to make sure he thrives outside of his musical career to keep his mind and body in perfect check.

Adam has a visual calendar, in which he marks his daily plans.  He strives to have everything set for the month to the best of his ability. When it comes to music Adam enjoys setting up and organizing a good vibe with a candle and led lights so it’s a calm environment where he can think and bring together his thoughts. It’s important to have a clear mind and a well put together schedule that will help keep everything on track.

Adam likes to drink tons of waters to keep himself in the best shape possible. As average as it sounds, it serves as a big help for him. He states that, “giving the body and brain what it needs helps keeps the system going.” Adam has also made a habit of making smoothies to gain essential nutrients from fruit. He does all of this to get in the best shape as possible to produce quality work.

Time Management

Mendvedev makes the statement that “It’s very important to be in the right mindset and create a space in order to produce the best results.” Time management is major aspect if Adams’s ability to thrive in life and it helps him keeps things in check. He tries to manage his social media time with his time of making music in the studio.   He states that, “to thrive fully there needs to be a plan for managing your time and steps to make sure you follow that plan.”  Nothing can be missed or taken lightly. As basic as it may sound, always keeping a consistent time management routine will cause efficiency along with effectiveness.

Unlike many, Adam works alone as much as possible and keeps many things to himself. Obviously, a team is needed when there’s a group goal, but whatever he can do he will do alone. “The less people to rely on, the better” states Medvedev. He states that “You’ll never fully understand unless you do it yourself.” Adam diligently keeps track of expenses and watches every move that he makes to be certain that everything is taken care of correctly. “ In order to move forward you must understand the past”  Adam states. He credits his past to sparking the ability to believe in and rely on himself in most situations. He believes that this mindset will get lead him to many great places in the future.
