I am surprised by life each day I live on this earth. Things change like the ferris wheel each time 24 hours lapses.
Life will never be the same as it was a year ago, a month ago or as in 1998.
The rules of life change. You adapt and try to make the best out of what it throws your way. Some people become successful at doing so, while some become complacent and lose.
Each person’s war consists of small battles.
But what if you are winning the battles of life and simultaneously are losing the war? What if you are fighting the wrong war? Think about it for a minute.
You overcome procrastination when it comes to working hard on your college exams. But in the same manner you are studying towards something you have no desire of building a career out of.
You work your butt off each day to be the best student and get good grades. In the last year of college( just a month from graduation), you are bombshelled by the realisation that you have been slaving yourself away for something which has no long-term value in your life.
The realisation then shatters your heart into pieces and you lose yourself in that predicament for a moment.
But be that as it may, it’s not the end of the road for you. Why?
You may have won the battle and lost the war… but you were fighting the wrong war. You were doing something you weren’t meant to do and it’s never too late to re-evaluate and reassess.
You still have the opportunity to do something great. You still have a chance make something out of your life.
It is amazing and at the same time not amazing. It scares the crap out of a lot of people but also allow them to discover new things.
Fight the right war. Fight the fight that matters. But if you don’t at the beginning, just know it’s never too late to do things differently and start all over again.
Thank you for reading. I appreciate the love and support.
