Architectural Photography is a meticulous art—the tiniest detail can make or break a photograph. The lighting, the colors, and the subject are only some of the multitude of elements that must come together in harmony to communicate a message effectively. Antonio Cuellar is a man with a legendary eye for detail, and his mastery in different techniques allows him to shoot photographs that effectively capture the essence of his subjects.

As an adept in the specialized niche of architectural photography, Antonio Cuellar creates aesthetically pleasing shots of buildings and other specialized structures that accurately represent them as the subject. His expertise and dedication in luxury hotel photography have earned him an enormous amount of respect and admiration in the field.

Antonio Cuellar graduated from the University of Miami–School of Business with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Services Marketing. Combined with his fluency in Spanish and English, as well as a decent grasp of Portuguese, he caters to world-class luxury hotel chains and delivers high-quality results each time. In his practice, he places transparency through smooth, personal communication in high regard. He sets outstanding yet realistic expectations for each client.

His more than 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality photography demonstrates his exceptional skill in his craft. Antonio Cuellar has pioneered the technique of architectural photography composite lighting, and by translating that technique in videography, he creates incredibly romantic visuals in both stills and video. Massive productions that require the simultaneous employment of photography and videography are completed with superb results.

The nature of his work allows him to enjoy a grandiose lifestyle as he immerses himself in the food and facilities of luxury hospitality establishments. In this experience, he can turn a critical eye on their features, allowing him to map out shots and possible angles to highlight the magnificent structures. Aside from architecture photography, Antonio Cuellar is skilled in lifestyle and food photography just as well. Combined with his background in the hospitality industry, his shots look equally magnificent on a brochure and a billboard.

The outstanding results he has produced for his clients has earned him a multitude of awards and acknowledgements. He was awarded the best of 2013 by the American Society of Media Photographers. He is currently a contributor to several publications, including Luxury Hoteliers and Luxury Travel Guide, the latter of which honors him as a judge as well.

Luxury hotel chains typically allow only their accredited photographers to work with them. Still, Antonio Cuellar gained the approval of Marriott International, Starwood Hotels, and Hilton Hotels and Resorts.

These achievements only speak of his excellence in his craft, and his passion for what he does brings him a sense of fulfilment that is worth more than the long, exhausting hours he spends in each of his productions.
