It’s great to have you here. Can you please tell us more about yourself and what you do?
“I am a licensed real estate salesperson at Douglas Elliman Real Estate. I represent sellers and buyers. I have a degree in psychology which is very helpful in this line of business. I love working with people and helping them, and I find it very rewarding! I have an optimistic personality, and most of my business has come from referrals and networking.
I am a member of the Louise Pitlake Power Team @ Douglas Elliman Real Estate. We often rank #1 in sales and are very dedicated and hard-working. We are pinnacle award winners and are very proud of that. Every client and customer I had is very special to me, and I am very grateful that they chose to know how to price a home, so it sells, and I guide buyers in this market. I get back to people who call and text me in a very timely manner. I love what I do, and my client’s reviews prove that.”
What is your service area? What are the benefits of working in this area? What are the amazing features of these areas that people should know before moving here?
“Nassau County is pretty large. There is a north shore area and south shore. If you want me to narrow it down to specific towns, I can, please let me know. I live in Merrick, N.Y. which is on the south shore of Long Island. We are very close to beautiful beaches and there are beautiful homes on the water on the south shore as well.”
Aside from that, Nassau County has so many fun, outdoor activities, and places on Long Island to visit that everybody needs to know. Do you work with a specific type of client, or within a specific niche?
“I have worked with many first-time homebuyers as well as many residential sellers. The market is huge and there are so much different types of people that I have encountered.”
How is the market performing right now? Is it the right time to acquire your services?
“Market is nothing like I have ever seen. The market is great right now and interest rates are low. Yes, it is a great time to acquire my services. Buying a home is the most difficult thing right now BUT not impossible. Again, you need a wise and experienced Realtor to help you, this market does not allow for mistakes.”
Tell us a little about your personal life? Ex: who do you live with? What are your hobbies? Do you have any pets? etc.
“I am married with three grown children, two are married. I live with my husband Michael of 35 years. I love to swim, workout, spend time with family and friends. I had a pet that sadly passed away in March at the age of 13. None of our children live with us anymore since they are all grown up moving on to have their own lives.
What are some pieces of advice that you would give to potential clients looking to buy, sell or invest in your service area?
“Be patient; get an inspection to make sure the property does not have any issues. Then, look at several properties to compare, so you know that you are making the right choice.”
