Advice to my younger self

Words that are truly inspiring

Be you. Be whoever you want to be. Take whatever opportunity there is out there because there would not be chances like these often.

Be wise in your choices. Do not let anyone take you for granted. Be firm and stand tall. Stand up for what you believe in.

Be observant and listen carefully. Do not be too nice so that other people will take your niceness for weakness.

Show people that you are worthy and smart and wise. Show people that you do what you are doing because it is your decision.

Be a positive role model to people young and old. Be alive. Be a good person. Be strong.

There is only one of you so take advantage of your individuality. There is no need to be afraid. People will respect you.

Life is complicated. Enjoy it as much as you like. No one can take it away from you.

Enjoy every minute, every second, every day of your life. Even if there is something wrong do not let it get to you personally. Give life your best shot.

Stay blessed.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
