Here’s what happened when the team went to interview Brian Feeney about his real estate journey.

Get the scoop here.

It’s great to have you here. Can you please tell us more about yourself and what you do?

“I am 55 years old, married for 31 years. I have three daughters and 11 grandchildren. I love working in the community with the Church. I am an Actor and have been in a few episodic TV shows.  I love traveling when possible.

I have been in the Real Estate business for over 34 years as a sales representative. I love helping people find their dream home. I work in the Toronto and Greater Toronto area. This market is one the fastest moving in the Country. One of the great features of the GTA is that you have so many diverse options of where you can live. Each city location caters to the different needs of each person. With the amount of diversity, we have so many options to choose from. Transit and Communities abound everywhere! It is truly a buffet of beauty! After 35 years, I am still as hungry to sell a house as I was when I first began at 19 years old.”

What is your service area? What are the benefits of working in this area? What are the amazing features of these areas that people should know before moving here?

“I work in the Toronto and Greater Toronto area. This market is one the fastest moving in the Country. One of the great features of the GTA is that you have so many diverse options of where you can live. Each city location caters to the different needs of each person. With the amount of diversity, we have so many options to choose from. Transit and Communities abound everywhere! It is truly a buffet of beauty!”

Do you work with a specific type of client or within a specific niche?

“I deal mostly in Residential Sales, helping both Buyers and Sellers attain their goals.  Having been in the industry for so long, I can help people with a little more experience than most. It is important that when you are buying or selling that the person that is representing you has as much experience as possible to arrive at the conclusion of your personal journey.”

How is the market performing right now? Is it the right time to acquire your services?

“Market is nothing like I have ever seen. Buying a home is the most difficult thing right now, BUT not impossible. But, again, you need a wise and experienced Realtor to help you, and this market does not allow for mistakes.”

Tell us a little about your personal life? Ex: who do you live with? What are your hobbies? Do you have any pets? Etc.

“I have been married for 31 years, and I have a daughter and granddaughter who live with me. I love traveling, doing mission work such as preaching the Gospel, and having a small bible study group of young people, helping them get their lives turned around! I have no pets. I am not fond of having them around my household.”

What are some pieces of advice that you would give to potential clients looking to buy, sell or invest in your service area?

“Don’t assume that everyone understands you! Interview at least three agents before making a decision.  A world-class agent’s value can only be seen when held up against an average agent’s value. Again, this market is very unforgiving. It is not about the sale but about the journey. There are so many tips that are available to help someone get a home. If your agent doesn’t have any, it could be a long wait!”
