The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams.
– Oprah Winfrey
Most of the people are not living their dreams. It is not because they don’t have the talent to make their dreams possible, Its because they found themselves helpless at the time of decision making.
I know that it will seem impossible to choose your dream sometimes. There may be many reasons for this. Society, Circumstances and Peer pressure may be there for you. But believe me, no reasons are enough when it comes to following your dreams.
Here I will give you 7 genuine reasons why you should follow your dreams, in case you are making your mind to give up on them.
Do you know the heaviest thing on this planet?
It is the regret.
Regret is the heaviest thing and believe me no one gonna share this burden with you. You have to bear it all by yourself and through your whole life.
In the end, we only regret the chances we didn’t take.
Let me tell you the most logical reason which I have found in the past few months. For this let me give you a hypothetical situation which is actually not so hypothetical in nature.
If you chase your dreams and become successful then you will become famous and you can say people would remember you for the next 100 years after your death but if you don’t chase your dreams and become nothing then people will definitely forget you in the next few years after your death.
So technically the world will forget you in each situation, then why should not you live your life on your own terms.
(I know, exceptions are there but they too were dream chasers).
I know your life is boring and believe me it would remain the same if you don’t follow your dreams.
If you want to make your life more challenging and full of adventures, start chasing your dreams. I bet nothing will give as hardships as making your dream come true will give you.
And because of these hardships, you will grow as a person too.
This thing works both ways. You can say that dreamers chase success, but I would like to say that success chases dreamers.
The World needs more dreamers. You can look into the history, every successful person was a vivid dreamer. A dream is the first step towards success. Hard work, talent and everything else come next. If you don’t have a dream you cannot become successful.
I know some people will say that you can’t define success, it is a subjective term.
But believe me, my friend it would be very hard for you to look into the mirror and say it in your own eyes that you are successful if you are living your life according to other people’s term. Success can be defined in your own definition and your own definition would not require other’s terminologies.
The most underrated thing I have ever seen is this one.
When society discourages you, it gives you the very first reason that you cannot earn sufficient money from your dreams.
It can be true from one perspective but I want to tell you another two.
First:– You cannot compare everything with money. Some things are more important than money.
Second:- You can earn 3 to 4 times more if you pursue your dreams than from anything else. The only thing you requires is the innovation.
It may be true that the dream you want to pursue have a very limited amount of reach in the traditional way, But with a decent amount of innovation you can make wonders.
I will not give examples here because I don’t want to bound your imagination in my words.
I don’t think I have to tell you this point in detail.
We all know that life is unpredictable and short. So, you can’t say that the plan you have for a stable life is better than your dream. It may go wrong too.
Some people can call me Pessimist but this is the real truth of the life. In the end, nothing really matters in this world. We are temporary and so that everything around us.
We are all gonna die and the world too would end one day. So, do whatever you want to do but the most important thing is you must live happily and the happiest people in this world are ones who are living their dreams. They are doing what they love to do that’s why they are happy.
