Visualizing your goal is good because what we see, we do not forget that easily. So, if you keep your goal in front of your eyes, you will get reminded of that. You will get your goal inculcated firmly. If you know where you are going, you won’t ever get off-road. Write it down anywhere, on a paper, on your study table, on your PC, etc. put it just where you can see it regularly.
2. Start to avoid Overthinking
Over-thinking ruins everything trust me. You can get yourself full of anxieties just by performing this task. So, don’t create the problems that you don’t have. And over-thinking does create a lot of problems. It takes you to the ugliest pits where you can’t do anything but feel helpless. It not only distracts you from your goals but also hampers your personal life. So, please stop overthinking!!!
3. Break Your Goal into smaller parts
Suppose you live on the 7th floor of your building. Whenever you use the elevator at the ground level, do you directly land at the 7th floor? NO, right? first, you reach the 1st floor, then 2nd, then 3rd, and so on. This is exactly what you should do. Try breaking up your goal into smaller targets. Reach them one by one and ultimately you will be able to conquer the battle. The goal would also feel less hectic that way.
4. Be an Organized and disciplined individual
Being organized not only makes your life and stuff sorted, but it also makes you more focused on your goal. See it like this, when you are organised and disciplined, you get everything you want easily, you don’t waste your time running here and there. And you remain attentive all the time. This makes you eradicate your demotivation and remain in a fired up mood.
5. Start Exercising if you haven’t already
By exercising I mean Yoga as well. Yoga and exercise are the purest forms of keeping your body active, warm, and attentive. It also keeps you mentally prepared as well. And most importantly, it keeps your visions clear and consciousness stable. Try it out and you’ll feel very much the same. It can help you in distress as well. Feeling unhappy, disappointed? Take your bicycle out and go for a ride, tell me if your mood doesn’t get lighten up.
6. Don’t be bothered about Materialistic things
If you are very much tilted towards materialistic things, then you will get distracted and desperate easily. Materialistic things are the least you should be worried about. These things include money, car, gadgets, chill-outs, etc. All these things are like a gamble. If thing go your way, you keep on winning and if they don’t you become the loneliest person ever. That is the most difficult time to handle. And if it happens with you, you won’t be able to concentrate on your goal.
7. Thrive Patience and Positive Attitude
Saving the best for the last. “Patience is a virtue”, you must have heard of it. It is indeed the truest claim in the world. Not everyone has patience and not everyone is a positive thinker. You know, you can win half of the battle with your own thinking. If you say “I can”, you really can otherwise, you know the result. But even if you lose, don’t lose your hope. The person whose body can’t stand doesn’t lose a battle, but a person whose spirit can’t stand does. So, be patient and positive.
It is up to you how you keep yourself motivated for doing a job. Motivation is a temporary urge, keep it safe, once it is gone, it is gone. These 7 rules will help you be motivated in times when you don’t want to. But never lose hope my friend.
