Doing yoga regularly can bring mental and physical benefits to a person. Some benefits have also been recognized and are scientifically based.

The benefits of yoga are well known as they are known to relieve stress and increase mental relaxation. Several studies have shown that yoga can reduce the production of the hormone cortisol, which is a stress hormone.

In addition, yoga has also been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, fatigue and depression in a person. With these benefits, yoga can improve our mental health, especially when combined with other methods to reduce stress.

2) Relieves Anxiety

Many studies have shown that yoga can help reduce anxiety. Study even found that someone with post-traumatic stress disorder  after experiencing trauma at an event reduced anxiety levels after 10 weeks of routine yoga.

3) Reduces Inflammation

In addition to improving mental health, several studies have shown that yoga can reduce inflammation. Thanks to these results, it can be shown that yoga can prevent the onset of diseases caused by chronic inflammation.

4) Relieves Chronic Pain

Chronic pain is a condition in which there is a problem in the body that causes continuous pain, usually caused by injury or arthritis. Many studies have shown that doing yoga regularly can help reduce many types of chronic pain.

One of the benefits of yoga has been confirmed by research showing that yoga routines can optimize performance through specific movements to improve flexibility and balance.
