Benefits of Yoga

Giving a calming effect and reducing stress is one of the benefits of yoga in making it a new positive trend in people. It is known that many other benefits are obtained by doing yoga routine.

Yoga is not just a sport for burning calories and building muscle. Yoga can train the body’s strength, regulate breathing and meditation, or relax the mind.

There are several types of yoga, here are some examples:

The benefits of yoga are well known as they are known to relieve stress and increase mental relaxation. Several studies have shown that yoga can reduce the production of the hormone cortisol, which is a stress hormone.

In addition, yoga has also been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, fatigue and depression in a person. With these benefits, yoga can improve our mental health, especially when combined with other methods to reduce stress.

2) Relieves Anxiety

Many studies have shown that yoga can help reduce anxiety. Study even found that someone with post-traumatic stress disorder  after experiencing trauma at an event reduced anxiety levels after 10 weeks of routine yoga.
