“The measure of a man (or woman) is not what you do, but who you are” With Josh Reif

“A gold medal is a wonderful thing. But if you’re not enough without it, you’ll never be enough with it. — John Candy in Cool Runnings (such a great movie) To me, this is a reminder that while our society constantly praises success stories, we need to be happy and confident in ourselves along the journey and my journey has been stressful. The measure of a man (or woman) is not what you do, but who you  are.”

I had the pleasure of interviewing Josh Reif, CEO of Crypto Launch Media, an ICO marketing firm. With a background in copywriting, sales, and marketing, Josh is focused on educating the public on emerging blockchain technologies and helping new projects communicate their value to the market.

Thank you so much for doing this with us! Can you tell us the story of how you got involved with thin your industry?

I’ve been involved in the Crypto markets since 2013 as a hobbyist. Blockchain is such an exciting technology, but I had no idea it would be this big or develop this quickly. I’ve recently entered the market on the business side, establishing my ICO marketing firm. RegTech is vital is this evolving market and it’s incumbent on all of us in this field to make sure we are compliant.

What are the top concerns that  firms like yours should be considering in order to have a competitive edge?

The market is constantly changing, so to remain competitive, firms should always be up-to-date on the latest regulatory changes and new technology. They need to operate globally as the Crypto economy is now a global marketplace. Finally, the should seek to offer a variety of services for the numerous needs of the market.

Can you share a story of a time when things went south for you? What kept you going and helped you to overcome those times?

I spent five years as an entrepreneur failing at every business I tried until finally moving into the Crypto space. I don’t need much to keep me going. I’m always confident in my future success. To me, it’s inevitable. I just have to be patient.

What are some things that you do on daily basis regardless of how busy you are?

I always get good sleep, take time to chat with friends and family, and try to eat a couple of fruits and vegetables.

Can you please give us your favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share how that was relevant to you in your life?

How can our readers follow you on social media?

You can add me on Facebook or LinkedIn as that’s where I hang out most. I’m swamped with clients at the moment so I don’t have as much time for social media, but I plan to increase my content production soon.

Thank you so much for this. This was very enlightening!

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
