Plan your success daily! Use your journal to jot these 5 THINGS YOU CAN DO RIGHT NOW to increase your chances of getting your book idea executed either through the traditional route of publishing or self-publishing.

Over the years, we have had many people approach us with book ideas that they’ve always wanted to publish, but they weren’t sure how to execute them. This is one of the many reasons why Michael and I started M&P Creative.

I’m happy to help with some quick tips here and there, but if you’re serious about being ready to get to work, give us a call and we’ll get your products into the hands of your paying customers:

1. Write a standout author bio with an emotionally gripping story about your life. If this is hard to write, then do something remarkable. Know your purpose. Find your why.

2. Write a product description of your book idea that surprises and delights your audience.

3. Offer something new and revolutionary with your product.

4. Finish writing the book/story. I couldn’t believe the number of people who approached me with their “book idea,” with no actual book to show me. If you don’t have a finished product, but you want to sell a book written by you, you might actually need to hire a ghostwriter or an editor. If that’s the case, I can do that, too.

5.Build your platform: share your expertise, boost your fellow writers and artists, cultivate community efforts, spark conversations.
