5 Practical Exercises of Positive Thinking

Exercise № 1: Translate your negative into positive.

As soon as a negative thought crosses your mind, detect it and practice formulating the same idea in a positive way. This discipline is similar to learning a foreign language will teach you a lot about yourself. In three weeks (the time it takes to anchor a new habit), the work will be done on its own, with no translation effort: you will have made positive thinking your first language.

Exercise № 2: Make your choices.

This exercise has an essential virtue: it forces you to determine yourself. Faced with a glass filled in a certain way, you must choose and decide whether it is half empty or half full. This simple personal determination can change your perception and make you switch to the positive. In the morning when you wake up, you can choose to be in a good mood or not. When an annoyance occurs, you can choose to become a victim or an opportunity to learn and grow. If you meet a grumbler, you can choose to agree to carry his burden or to put him on a positive path. You will discover how to reason in terms of choice on events, sensations, ideas, experiences can make you change your mind positively. For example, you can`t find good custom college essays service. Exercise № 3: Ask questions.

This is the ba-ba of network communication. It is also the most obvious sign that you are interested in your interlocutor and therefore the best way to put him in trust and in good dispositions towards you. If your contact is positive, the game of questions will be immediately reciprocal and you will share a very good time. If your interlocutor is negative, he will often be vague. Your increasingly precise questions (see the New Code of NLP) may cause him to revise his perception.

Exercise № 4: Surround yourself with positive people!

Unfortunately, there are people who do not know how to live without lugging their bad luck and making them enjoy their surroundings. In criticism or permanent lamentation, they unfortunately create the emptiness around them or become glue-pots (toxic) for the good soul who agrees to listen to them. Do not forget that negative thinking is also very contagious!

Exercise № 5: Fully experience your positive thoughts.

You have understood that positive thinking has a lot to do with self-suggestion. It’s your imagination that is at work and that makes it work. When you project positively with your qualities into a happy event, you give it a good chance of realizing itself.
