3 Secrets to losing weight fast!

Losing weight is not easy. It requires a tough mindset and hard work. This article gives the reader three vital tips on how to lose weight faster and achieve that dream body you have been yearning for.

As I write this post, I am asking myself this question, ”why do some of us find it hard to lose weight even after spending hours and hours in the gym?”

This question is usually a topic of discussion in many online forums with tons of articles been published regarding this topic on weight loss.

Have you been trying to lose weight too but you haven’t been successful?

Well, don’t worry, I have the solution.

In this post, I am going to share with you some few tips that are going to help you attain that dream physique you so much crave for.

But before we talk about these useful tips, let’s take a look at what it means by losing weight.

Weight loss is defined as the decrease of body mass as a result of a loss of body fat, body fluid, body tissue, body muscle or lean mass.

Now that you are conversant with weight loss, let’s jump right into the useful tips I had mentioned earlier.

Tip 1 : You are not working hard enough in the gym!

I am not trying to be rude here, but not all of us work hard enough in the gym. Actually, the few that do, hardly finish their workouts. It is estimated that close to 60 percent of all gym goers, literally finish their workouts. This is a sad statistic, considering how badly most of us want those results.

Listen, there is no secret remedy to achieving a great physique. Hard work and persistence is what is going to help you reach to your goals faster. Nothing comes easy. You have to work your ass off in the gym, period!

Therefore, make sure every time you step into the gym; you finish off your workouts. Switch off your phone, forget about everything else- just train- and train hard! Avoid distracters (phones, chatting with friends and long water breaks), but instead, only focus on your workout. Approach each work out with a positive mindset.

With that in mind, let’s jump over to our next tip which is….

Tip 2: Diet! Diet! Diet!


Diet is everything! Food is everything my friend! If you think that you can eat anything you like immediately after working out, then you are mistaken. You can’t just eat anything you come across. Remember your aim is to lose weight, right?

Therefore, it’s not only a matter of working out hard in the gym, but eating healthy food in measured amounts. For instance, if your aim is to lose 10 pounds in two weeks, it means you have to stay away from junk food!

I am not saying that you should have one meal in a day to lose weight, No! Remember you still need those calories to workout efficiently in the gym. Therefore, measuring the amount of calories you take in a day is what is going to help you lose weight. Have a calorie checker. Take notes on the number of calories you consume in a day (amount of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats).

Check your weight regularly. Know the total number of calories you need to consume in a day. Calculate your calories (total calories burned in a day). From there you will be in a position to know whether you are heading in the right direction.

In general, losing weight is staying in a calorie deficit. Make sure what you consume is less than what you have burned in the gym. Simple!

Up to this point, I hope you have grasped everything I have just explained to you in the last two points, right?

If the answer is yes, then let’s move on to the next point…

Tip 3: You are not sleeping well!

This is where many of us get it all wrong. Sleep is important as your diet. If you have been sleeping fewer hours, then you are killing your gains.

A normal person should sleep for at least six to eight hours of uninterrupted sleep a day. And when I say uninterrupted sleep, I really mean it! Perusing your phone late at night is not in any way sleeping.

Sleeping is being in a deep state of sleep. If you have been finding it hard to sleep well at night, then do whatever you have to do to sleep well. Whether you are going to take sleeping pills or listen to good music before retiring to bed, I don’t care, just do it!

A good night’s sleep will help you relax those muscles after an intense workout. It also helps you achieve your ultimate goal of losing those few pounds.

Final thoughts

Losing weight should not be a complicated affair. Actually, from these few tips, you should be able to see results in a matter of days, or even weeks.

Remember to stick to a game plan. Follow everything I have just told you in this post. Don’t allow yourself to be swayed away by any other random stuff that can kill your gains. Keep off from junk food, sleep well and train hard in the gym.
