Vikki is a visual artist, theatre-maker, poet, writer & mental health through the arts advocate. She curates community events to reduce stigma around mental illness, offering opportunity for people to engage in the arts to deepen their understanding of themselves and their place in the world. Founder of Soul Sofa, a community platform that brings together local Arts & Mental Health practitioners to encourage conversation and strategic action for personal & community growth. As a choir member, lead singer in a Blues band, ecstatic dancer, actor & Artist in the Audience, she walks her talk for mental health, planting seeds for others to proactively engage in their own self-enquiry through the arts. With a BSc (hons) in Psychology, training in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy and 16 years as a Drama Teacher in Secondary education, Vikki draws together her skills and her personal journey with mental health to bring solutions to a world that needs some relief & soothing.
