Toni Gross

Toni Gross is a Gold Star Mother and regular volunteer at the Tampa Bay Fisher House.

In 2011, Toni Gross' son, Frank, was killed by an IED explosion during his tour in Afghanistan. In the time that has passed since their son's death, Toni and her husband, Craig, have not left grief consume them. Instead, Toni volunteers regularly at the Tampa Bay Fisher House and Craig quit his job to open Frankie's Patriot BBQ. The restaurant has become a landmark for service members, veterans and families who travel there to pay tribute to Frankie and their own lost loved ones.
