Susan Spencer

Editor-in-Chief of Woman's Day

I am a passionate advocate for women. I believe that we are inherently capable of bringing about change, mending differences, cultivating respect, and forging a kind and just society. I empower today’s women by helping them to live their values so they can take charge of their lives. To focus on their health. To help others, both in their immediate circle and in their communities. To create meaningful connections. To be financially confident. And to inspire other women to do the same. Currently, I am the editor in chief of Woman's Day, the top-selling monthly magazine on newsstands in the U.S. with a print and online audience of 20 million women. I call on my storytelling abilities and deep roots in service journalism to engage women on both emotional and actionable levels. I resonate with their values, understand their unique challenges and needs, and have a pulse on what’s relevant and important in their lives. Through my work, I partner with and mentor others who share my passion for celebrating and empowering women. I welcome conversations and connections with people who share my commitment to creating change for women.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
