Sophia Husbands

Sophia Husbands is an inspirational writer and lifestyle mentor, who “gets” the quarter-life crisis. After almost getting burned out by living the conveyor belt lifestyle in her early thirties, she realised she was not happy and that life was too short to waste on just existing instead of living her passion. She came to understand that she needed to return to loving herself again and remember that life is a continuous learning journey. And that it is okay to feel clueless and to explore and learn. She retrained to teach in lifelong learning; whilst continuing to do consultancy work. Working for some of the international FTSE firms. Nowadays she is a wellness writer with a twist, getting people to become the master of their own life. By receiving tips through her interactive conversational vlogs and blogs, one feels like being in a conversation with her. Sophia knows what is needed to tick the boxes and try to design a freedom lifestyle. Having her own experience and thus leading by example gives her depth and variety on the topics that she talks about. She is also a go-getter and has competed in national singing competitions, moved to foreign countries on her own and started her life all over again. Her debut book Be Happy, has also been recommended by professionals as one for people to read on self-help.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
