I am a certified health coach (Institute for Integrative Nutrition, New York) with a PhD in biology/genetics (Toronto, Canada) and use an integrated scientific approach for maximizing health and wellness. I believe that everyone can live their best possible lives by eating well, sleeping well, moving, constantly testing their personal limits, respecting their instincts, having a curious mind and being authentic.
I have also published a first book, The Food Anthropologist, sharing with the reader a one year journey through twelve consecutive 30-day food challenges including gluten and dairy free, ketogenic, vegan and intermittent fasting. Amazing how an expedition in food and drink limitations can turn into lessons for life. If you are interested, please search Amazon books for The Food Anthropologist, available in paperback as well as eBook formats (Amazon).
My own personal balance comes from doing what I love professionally, constantly challenging myself intellectually and physically, a family that I adore, fantastic friends, and regularly training for and playing my favorite sport, beach ultimate.

“People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.”
- MARCUS AURELIUS
