Samuel Newland

Insurance Agent by Day, Meditator by Morning and Evening, and Student at All Times

Profesionally: Samuel is a Boston-based insurance agent since 2013. He is grateful to share his knowledge regarding insurance and personal finance to help people and families retire younger and more safely. On weekends, he teaches individuals and families how to meditate on a donation-based system so that meditation is not an economic barrier for those with less money. Personally: Samuel first started meditating in 2010. From 2010 until August of 2017, he struggled with the conflict between fulfilling familial obligations and expectations and his strong desire to progress with his meditation practice. He believed he needed to live at a meditation center or become a monk to progress his meditation practice. Since August 2017, he is determined to share what he has learned and to help and inspire others to believe that tranquility, joy, and happiness are not just for those in robes. They are also for those in suits, skirts, and sweats.
