Robert Greenwald

Robert Greenwald is the founder and president of Brave New Films, a nonprofit film and advocacy organization at the forefront of the fight to create a just America. The organization’s films have been viewed by over 100 million people worldwide and are distributed for free in concert with nonprofit partners in order to educate and mobilize around social justice issues like mass incarceration, immigration, corporate greed and racial justice.

Before launching Brave New Films in 2000, Mr. Greenwald produced and/or directed more than 65 TV movies, miniseries and films as well as major theatrical releases. His work has earned him 25 Emmy Award nominations, two Golden Globe nominations, the Peabody Award, the Robert Wood Johnson Award, and the 2002 Producer of the Year Award by the American Film Institute.
