RITU GUPTA GARG
My name is a Ritu Gupta Garg and I like to call myself a wordsmith. I collect words like a philatelist would collect stamps or a numismatic would collect coins. Words give me power, I share a relationship with them. Words make my thoughts tactile, tangible and transferrable.
I have grown up speaking and writing in Hindi and English an am equally proficient in both the languages.
While I am formally a B.com and an MBA with a major in finance but I have a strong passion for the languages, history, social institutions, food, fashion ,parenting and health and I am now following writing and translation as my profession.
I am strongly in favour of holistic education where subjects are not compartmentalized but rather connected with each other to make learning fun and interesting. So for me, mathematics is as much about numbers as it is about philosophers and historians. For me, Hindi is as much about a language as its about lateral perspectives. I am particularly fond of Hindi- kavya , and dohas and their pithiness. I see math and history in them.
