The man behind the labels

Richard Hodge

Teacher, executive adviser & coach, PhD

Richard specialises in leadership and governance essential for sustainable development in This Century.

Richard's careers include scientist, diplomat, strategy consultant, general manager in a global corporate and more recently a partner in a boutique consulting business focussing on the tougher problems the big firms hadn't been able to crack. He is also a member of faculty at Thought Leaders Business School in Australia.

He continues research in integrating strategy, execution and governance. He maintains that if culture eats strategy for breakfast, controls eat innovation for lunch, and all that's left for dinner is communication. He loves teaching, coaching and mentoring millennial leaders for them to gain the wisdom of a 60-something while they are 20-30-something.

Many global businesses and institutions operate with 20th Century frameworks ill-adapted to the needs of This Century. Richard guides leaders to bring out their best today by adopting ways of thinking and practice that will establish a viable foundation for the future.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
