Raquel Avila is recognized as a critical player in sales and marketing in the publishing industry for almost 20 years, utilizing her expertise in some of the biggest literary markets in the United States, including San Francisco and New York. She has written online for Artistpreneur, Recruiterpoet, and was profiled by the Hoboken Chamber of Commerce's Women in Business Council. She graduated from Rutgers University and received a MFA in Creative Non-fiction from The New School in 2015. She currently works as a substitute librarian in beautiful Hudson Valley in New York.
