Rania Abdel Meguid

PhD in Applied Linguistics

I'm a lecturer of linguistics and translation at the Department of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University, Egypt. I'm also a translator. I'm a bookworm, and I'm currently developing an interest in several areas like writing, translation, playing the piano and cycling. Writing for me has become a passion, a kind of exorcism that helps me at many times feel relieved and satisfied. When I write, I hope what I write helps change somebody's life positively, leaving even little impact on it. That's when satisfaction and a great degree of self-fulfillment come in.
