Nuala Walsh

Nuala has a 25 year track record of globalising businesses, repositioning brands and delivering revenue growth in some of the world's largest financial services firms. An award-winning specialist in business transformation, strategic brand communications and behavioural change, she has been named amongst the Most Influential Women in Finance by Financial News 2015 and the Top 50 CMOs 2016. Most recently, Nuala was appointed Chief Marketing Officer of Standard Life Aberdeen and member of the Investments Executive Committee. Prior to that, she was MD, Head of International Marketing at Blackrock; and held various Sales, Marketing, Fintech and Corporate Strategy positions in Merrill Lynch’s Debt Capital markets and Investment Management businesses. Starting her career with PA Consulting, she advised blue-chip, NGOs and start-up companies, including the World Bank. Today, she is Vice-Chair of UN Women (UK) and serves on the Inclusion Advisory Board at The Football Association (FA); the Gender Leadership Taskforce at the IAAF; and the Ethics Committee of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments. She previously served on the Board of Actionaid Ireland. Nuala holds a 1st-class Masters in Business Studies and an Honours BA Degree from Trinity College Dublin. She is currently embarking on an MSc in Behavioral Science at the London School of Economics. She has lectured in Insead and attended multiple Executive programmes in Harvard, Stanford and Kellogg.
