Matt Kupec has worked within the fundraising sector for many years as a professional fundraiser and leader. He has had numerous opportunities in fundraising in the healthcare industry and higher education. Two top tier industries for fundraising efforts and great places to become a leader within the fundraising realm. While working in his different roles in fundraising, he was in charge of thousands of team and staff members in which he worked very closely with and honed in on his leadership skills.
Matt worked at the development offices at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as the Moffitt Cancer Center and Hofstra University. While he was leading the developement office, he directed 3 major fundraising campaigns and raised over $5 billion in funds. Matt Kupec was also very successful during his collegiate years as a starting quarter back for the University of North Carolina for four seasons. He set 19 passing records and two of which still stand and were both career and season records.
His excellent leadership skills have continued to grow since his time at UNC as starting quarterback. Matt learned many lessons during his football career that have helped shape professional he is today.
