Marina de Boer

Wellbeing activist, author & teacher

Marina runs a natural retreat in Malaga, Southern Spain, with her artist partner Paul. It is at Back to La Tierra where they intend to bring together everything that constitutes well being from a permaculture garden, eco conscious choices in everything they offer their guests and yoga and art on site.

Marina (1967) was born in The Netherlands but grew up trilingual (Dutch, Spanish, English) in an international environment in Spain. Her University Degree in European Studies initially led to marketing positions at various 5* Hotel Chains such as Marriott International. In 2011 Marina moved back to the Netherlands with her family and started writing columns relating to wellbeing and social change, a selection of which she turned into a book and which was published in 2017. Her writing and workshops inspire people to look at daily choices through a different lens so that life can truly become a reflection of the world you want to live in. Her Soul Flow Yoga is a part of the process as without movement you can't make space. Marina is always searching for the right balance. Curious to go beyond the surface of your idea of wellbeing? People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
