Lindsey Holcomb was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2017, and turned to art as a way to heal. After painting her diagnostic MRI, changing the clinical black and white to vibrant color, a passion project was born. Lindsey went on to start #colorsofMS with the goal of painting 365 MRIs, and sharing the healing journey of her participants.
“People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.”
- MARCUS AURELIUS
