Joanna Yu is originally from China. She came to the States 6 years ago for college where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Math and Music at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. During her time as a student, she composed a number of Chinese songs that went viral on Chinese media with the help of the producer of “The Voice” of China. In the past few years, she has worked closely with several entertainment companies to compose and record with groups including Universal Music Group & Shanghai Media Group. After graduating from college, she has acted in several movies and TV shows in China. Music has constantly amazed Joanna as it has healed her family, friends, and people who were in deep pain. She is determined to build the most effective music healing platform.
