Joanna L. (Nasar) McWilliams is a writer and editor. She got her start working as an editorial assistant for a health and science textbook publisher, and has since gone on to write about advances in heart surgery, how to have healthy teeth, self-charging buses, a rocket competition in the middle of the desert, the plight of endangered fishing cats of Thailand, and how microgrids are revolutionizing Rwanda for a wide range of digital and print media outlets.
