Joanna is an Author, Entrepreneur and CEO of Top Notch Scholars. Joanna is able to quickly and succinctly identify areas of improvement for executives and companies based on her knowledge and expertise of performance psychology and years of leading various teams. Joanna founded Top Notch Scholars in 2015, a non-profit that empowers youth through leadership development by providing workshops, motivational speaking engagements and Internship opportunities for high school students in the Greater Boston area.In just 3 short years with her organization she has reached over 16,000 students & young professionals. 


Joanna has earned her Bachelors in Business at Lasell University, Masters in Education at Merrimack College and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Performance Psychology.

Organizations and schools that Joanna has worked with include Boys and Girls Clubs, Crest Collaborative, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Alpha Boston, Babson College, Rotary International, Proctor Academy, Urban College of Boston, Girls Inc, Kiwanis International, Massachusetts Public Schools, New York Public Schools and more.


Joanna has been recognized as Boston’s Latino 30 under 30, Lawrence Partnership’s Rising Star, YWCA’s Tribute to Women award, Gateway City Leader by MassInc and ALPHA Boston’s Women Making History for her transformational leadership development impact within the community and school partners. She is heavily involved in her community by volunteering with local nonprofits, food pantries and engages in city clean ups.
