Dr. Nidhi Thakur

Quintessential romantic, chronicler by instinct, and economist by profession

http://wetheworldenergy.blogspot.com
Raised in India, I came to the States for graduate studies. Trained as a health economist, with a Post-doc from Univ of Chicago. Taught in various colleges including Texas Tech University, in Lubbock, and Barnard College, in NYC, and now in Kean University, NJ. I live, observe, write and chase goblins, and astronauts in Short Hills, NJ, as a mom and improvise (with mixed success) perfectly decent recipes as a wife!

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
