Craig Martin

Global Director of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention
Craig Martin oversees the Movember Foundation’s portfolio of work in mental health and suicide prevention around the globe. Craig has worked as a clinician and manager in a broad range of mental health services for over 13 years and sadly, has lost several of his mates to suicide. Having witnessed the devastation that suicide causes to families and communities, Craig is unrelenting in his desire to challenge the status quo when it comes to stopping men dying too young and creating a global impact on men’s mental health and suicide prevention. Craig especially loves hearing from Mo Bros and Mo Sistas about their own stories, as well as seeing the moustache starting conversations and changing lives. On the rare occasion Craig is not out and about talking men’s mental health, he can be found adventuring with his two little men or with his mates at the footy, beer in hand.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
