Carrie L. Burns is a blogger and Certified Mars-Venus Relationship coach. She has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Berkeley and a Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School, which led to admission to the California Bar. After realizing that practicing law wasn’t all it was cracked up to be she went on to work for the federal government as a fraud investigator and after recent budget cuts decided it was time to pursue writing coaching full time. Because she is a sexual abuse survivor that struggled for years with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, insecurity, lack of self-love and relationship issues she figured who could be better at teaching people how to navigate life and love than her. So, she learned how to coach people based on the principles set forth by John Gray, Ph.D. and plans to teach people how to navigate their relationships by understanding gender differences and applying those understandings to create true love and devotion.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
