Carolyn is a researcher and clinician with dual qualifications in Western and Chinese medicine, a track record in research on complementary and integrative therapies, and is a leader within integrative healthcare and research. Her current research focuses on the role of complementary therapies for metabolic disorders such as Polycystic Ovary syndrome, obesity, Type 2 diabetes and weight gain after breast cancer; integrative healthcare services; and wellbeing. She has over twenty years experience as a medical doctor, specialising in general practice.
Carolyn is a well-known advocate for healthy living, work/life balance, mothers in the workforce, and health professional and workplace wellbeing.
