Anil Rajvanshi is a spiritual engineer!  A graduate of IIT Kanpur, India in early 1970s he went to United States (US) for higher studies.  In a fit of madness and arrogance, he left a very lucrative career in U.S. and came back in 1981 to rural India thinking that he will change India!  India did not change but he changed.  In the process of developing renewable energy technologies for rural areas he discovered himself and the great spiritual traditions of India.

 

He has written extensively on the interaction of spirituality and technology and believes that spirituality + technology = happiness.  He tries to live a sustainable life in his rural setting and believes in Gandhian philosophy of higher thinking and simple living.

 

About his technological work he has recently written a book “Romance of Innovation – A human interest story of doing R&D in rural setting”.

 

Recently he has also penned his autobiography entitled “A life of an ordinary Indian – An exercise in self-importance”

 

He loves to travel and teach young citizens of the world regarding sustainable living.
