Codifying Business

Anand Prakash is CEO of GrailAI, a new artificial intelligence platform focused on leveraging new data algorithms to improve Cancer Diagnosis. This project has been 10 years in the making while he built up his resources, knowledge and network to help make it successful. Prakash is well-known as a Silicon Valley technology visionary and developer. He first built SMS Gupshup (Webaroo) which began as a weekend project and grew to be the largest social network in the world in 2005 with 35 Million users. Prakash then landed a senior role at LinkedIn, helping with their mobile technology before founding and developing Droptalk, a stealth startup which was acquired by Silicon Valley giant Dropbox. After spending some time at Dropbox as a divisional CTO, he took a technology leadership role at Verizon, for which he was also CTO of a subsidiary. Prakash still dreamed of using his technical vision and skills to truly make a difference in the world and help to cure disease. When his uncle was diagnosed with cancer too late to successfully cure the disease, he realized that by using technology to compare multiple data sources with regular symptoms of cancer, early diagnosis would be possible. With his full focus on new company, GrailAI, Prakash is dedicated to this mission.

People look for retreats for themselves, in the country, by the coast, or in the hills . . . There is nowhere that a person can find a more peaceful and trouble-free retreat than in his own mind. . . . So constantly give yourself this retreat, and renew yourself.
